User Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated 12 July 2026
Overview
If you signed in to DogPed using Facebook Login, or you've shared personal information with us through the platform, you have the right to ask us to delete it. This page explains how to remove DogPed's access to your Facebook account and how to request deletion of any data we hold about you.
Step 1: Remove DogPed's access from Facebook
You can revoke DogPed's permission to access your Facebook data directly from your Facebook account settings:
Log in to Facebook and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
Select Apps and Websites in the left-hand menu.
Find DogPed in the list of active apps and click Remove.
This immediately stops DogPed from accessing any new data from your Facebook profile.
Step 2: Request deletion of your DogPed data
Removing app access from Facebook does not automatically delete data DogPed already holds. To delete your DogPed account and all associated personal data, you have two options.
Delete it yourself (recommended)
If you have a DogPed account, sign in and go to Account Settings → Data & Privacy, then select Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, messages, and stored files. Breeders with an active kennel profile must remove their kennel listing first.
Ask us to do it for you
Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account and request data deletion. Include your full name and, if possible, the email you used to sign in with Facebook so we can locate your account.
What gets deleted
Once a deletion request is processed, we permanently remove your account profile, authentication credentials, uploaded photos and documents, and any personal data obtained via Facebook Login (such as your name, email address, and profile picture). Some information may be retained where required by law, for example transaction records needed for tax and accounting purposes.
How long it takes
Self-service deletion via Account Settings takes effect immediately. Requests sent by email are processed within 30 days.
